Summary

All in all, the Rossignol One MagTek Snowboard is a fun board and a crowd-pleaser. The board ensures smoother and comfortable riding at high speeds. It has a marvelous heel to toe action. You can take it pretty much anywhere.

If you need only one freestyle snowboard, it’s always the one you need. Now equipped with the RadCut profile, the Rossignol One is extremely maneuverable and offers smoother edge changes and excellent stability. Its directional flex and almost twin shape of the Rossignol One MagTek Snowboard makes it a real all-in-one board for all-mountain freestyle lovers.

This snowboard is designed for intermediate to advanced level riders and it’s a hard charger, a little bit more on the freeride side than freestyle. Read the review below and decide for yourself if this is the right board for you.

Smoother Ride Experience

The MagTek Snowboard is a directional twin style board, the tail is stiffer than the nose and the stance has been slightly setback, but overall the shaping is going to be twin, the nose and tail going to be of same width. The board also features an amptek all-mountain profile so, in between the feet the board has a camber and then the board has rocker from underneath the feet to those contact points.

It is forty percent camber and thirty percent rocker on the nose and the tail. The board has an aggressive style and is not chattery at all. It features a light frame and technology that’s like none other than Rossignol. Around the perimeter of the board you can see urethane strip.

On top, are the basalt fibers along with the fiberglass and then on bottom it has an additional laminate that’s a strip of aramid in between the Inserts, which is in fact Kevlar.

Flexible Design with Maximum Stability

The MagTek Snowboard is quiet flexible. It has a directional style flexing, the tail is a little stiffer than the front section, because Rossignol mills their cores to be a bit thicker with stronger portions underneath. The board also has Magna-traction with serrated knife like blade edge that is great for firm snow.

Another cool thing about this board is its RadCut, which is actually a really tight side cut radius in between the feet with reverse side cut on the nose and tail, this allows the engagement of rocker nose and tail. This board ensures that you get stability at speed and a solid edge grip from base to the peak without compromising the durability.
