Summary
This board has a lot of wild technology and if you like free riding and cruising around, the Rossignol 2017 Angus Magtek Snowboard is a perfect choice. This is a highly recommended board to all mountain riders, because this thing is great for carving.
The Rossignol 2017 Angus Magtek Snowboard is one of the best snowboards in the market. This is a directional board with a 1.3cm milled down edge for intermediate to advanced level riders. The board is a hard charger, but gives a unique feel when you ride it. In between the feet the boards can be very responsive and stiff.
Torsionally it is a pretty stiff style board. Underneath the board there is a BC roller. Thirty five percent of the board is slightly rolled up and the base is almost beveled a little bit. You can easily float this thing flat if you want to. Read the review below and decide for yourself if this is the right board for you.

Balance and stability
The 2017 Angus Magtek Snowboard has a unique style as the edge is lifted up. When you ride this thing in power it’s actually a lot of fun, because of its raised edges. The board is a little bit more buttery, but still very stable underneath your feet. This board also features an Amptek all-mountain. It is a camber in between the feet and the rest of the board from underneath the feet to contact points is rocker.
It gradually rocks off and kicks up very fast. Inside it, is a popular wood core that’s been milled out to be thicker under the back foot for more power and stability. The tail is more stable and the core is wrapped in by glass. It has additional aramid strips that laminate from tip to the tail. The board is also torsionally stiff.

Unique Base Style and Magna Traction
The eccentric style base has a BC roller that gives a unique shape to the board. This design allows the board to pivot without touching up on any edges. The board also has magna traction edges and when you lay this board down on the edge it will engage. Another great feature is that it helps to the grip down.
There’s a tight side cut radius in the middle of the 2017 Angus Magtek Snowboard and then there’s reverse side cut radius on the nose and the tail, so even though there’s a little bit of rocker under those in the tail when you engage its edge that reverse side cut helps grip down.
